Founder & CEO
Jasmine E. Sessoms is the founder and CEO of J&S
Strategies, a full-service government relations firm.
Jasmine has over 10 years of experience in political
fundraising and charitable giving. Over the last 5 years, she has
worked on local, federal and state-wide campaigns in
Pennsylvania. Over this time she has raised over $5 million
dollars for her candidates and causes. Jasmine has had the
pleasure of serving 3 Mayor’s assisting them in directing the
City of Philadelphia’s charitable dollars. In 2013 Jasmine
founded She Can Win; a non-partisan program that trains
women to run for public office. Since its inception, She Can Win
has trained over 275 women. Prior to founding J&S Strategies
and She Can Win, Jasmine was the Director of Corporate
Giving and Charitable Programs for ACE Insurance, where she
implemented a tax credit program that distributed $6.8 million
dollars annually to local and national charities. Jasmine has a
bachelor’s degree from Morgan State University in Marketing,
an MBA from Temple University and a Master’s of Science in
Organizational Development and Leadership from PCOM.
Cheif Operaring Officer
Dominque has experience working with elected officials on various aspects of campaigns such as strategic planning and fundraising. She has created internship programs for high school and college students and assisted with the growth of political organizations through fundraising initiatives and community outreach.
Prior to working at the firm, Dominque was the finance director for Larry Krasner for District Attorney of Philadelphia where she managed donor relations, planned and executed fundraising events, and assisted with creating and implementing six-month finance plan. She has worked as the political director of the Senate Democratic Campaign Committee where she managed finances and compliance procedures for the committee and various Democratic State Senators, managed daily operations for the committee, and coordinated hiring of the new executive director with Senate leadership and partners. Dominque has also interned and worked with other government officials.
Dominque earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Hobart and William Smith Colleges where she received the President’s Leadership Award and Ithiel DeSola Pool Prize in Political Science.
